As part of its Chinese New Year celebrations, Sunway Property held a series of five open houses across the Klang Valley while showcasing its latest developments which included Sunway South Quay, Sunway Velocity, Sunway Montana, Sunway Eastwood and Sunway Vivaldi.
Guests were invited to participate in this memorable cultural experience which included activities such as acrobatic lion dances, dragon beard candy demonstrations, dough doll demonstrations and caricature presentations.
Crowds thronged Sunway Montana, an exclusive hillside enclave located in Desa Melawati which is the epitome of green innovation, with a 14-acre private forest where the celebrations began with an energetic acrobatic lion dance performance. The lion dance troop performed their repertoire of amazing flips and jumps at the entrance of the RM10 mil luxurious Sunway Montana clubhouse entrance before proceeding to take a stroll around the entire area. Visitors had a field day with their smartphones, snapping pictures and recording video clips as the lion dancers performed.
Representing Sunway Property, Sunway Bhd executive director (Property development division for Central Region) Ong Ghee Bin received the tray of vegetables and fruits which is said to be a blessing of good fortune and prosperity from the lion.
The caricaturists were also a hit with the families, forming long queues at the station with the children delighting in having their faces caricatured.

Besides the cultural activities, Sunway Montana showcased a sneak preview of the development’s three-storey townhouse units. The courtyard villas of which there were only 10 units opened for registration.
At Sunway Eastwood in Puchong South, visitors joined in the activities and a preview of the development’s Park Villa super-link units which comprise of 66 exclusive units in a low-density development. Sunway Eastwood features 6.5 acres of greenery and a central park. It is easily accessible with through the proposed KL-Putrajaya Highway (MEX Highway), Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong, Putrajaya Highway and South Klang Valley Expressway.
Besides participating in the activities planned at Sunway Velocity, visitors also had the opportunity to view the signature retail shop and office which received great interest. The 10 exclusive blocks of retail shop offices comes with a dual-frontage facing Jalan Shelly and the two-acre Central Park which will be built within the development. Sunway Velocity is a mere 3.8 km to the City Centre and is serviced by 2 MRT and LRT stations.
